OSLO, NORWAY AND SEOUL, KOREA - Feb. 13, 2006 – Beep Science, a leading provider of mobile DRM software, and INKA ENTWORKS, an Interoperable DRM solution provider, today announced at the 3GSM World Congress, an interoperable DRM solution for supporting content services to mobile phones, PCs, MP3 players and Personal Media Players (PMP) targeting OMA DRM, Netsync DRM and other DRM solutions like MS DRM to maximize end-user flexibility.
Through this strategic partnership, the companies enable the end-users to use the variety of multimedia devices to download contents from online music services, including OMA DRM, Netsync DRM and MS DRM based services. By doing so, users can download contents from the online services and carry them in mobile phone, PC, MP3 player and PMP devices. INKA Entworks and Beep Science will demonstrate the interoperable DRM solution at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.
Beep Science provides DRM software fully compliant with the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) industry standard versions 1 and 2. The Beep Science products DRM Agent and DRM Server support multiple operating systems and any content type, paving the way for a healthy digital content ecosystem across devices and platforms.
INKA Entworks provides Netsync DRM that has been used for the DRM interoperability needs from customers who would like to enjoy interoperability features with 8 different types of server DRM. The Netsync DRM solution has now OMA DRM interoperability power making the end-users able to download and enjoy contents from not only proprietary DRM platforms but also OMA DRM based platforms worldwide.
