Mobile Phone Software Integration Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced C/C++ programmer looking to take on more responsibility and drive the integration of Beep Science’s mature client product into new mobile handsets. The Beep Science DRM Agent (client) is a software SDK that is used by mobile phone manufacturers to add DRM capabilities to their new terminals. The integration of DRM into a mobile phone requires integration with a wide range of platform and application components. The Integration Engineer is be responsible for porting & testing the DRM Agent to the target platform and working with our customers to design & implement platform specific solutions. You will be required to provide training and support to mobile phone manufacturers globally.

Education

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.

Experience

At least 3+ years software development experience. Expertise in C/C++ is a must. You must have some experience with mobile phone software architecture and applications.

Interpersonal Skills

• Excellent communicator in English
• Chinese language skill is a huge plus
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Take initiative to find the best solutions
• Comfortable to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Willingness to travel

Preferred Skills

Knowledge in any of the following areas will be highly considered:

• Mobile Phone device architecture
• Mobile Phone application technologies: MMS, WAP, J2ME, OTA Download, etc.
• Mobile phone operating systems: Windows Mobile, BREW, Linux, Nucleus, RTKE
• Multimedia applications and file formats: Real Helix, MPEG-4, 3GPP, etc.
• Content Protection Technologies: OMA DRM, WMDRM, CPRM, etc.
• Mobile Broadcast / Mobile TV: DVB-H, T-DMB, OMA BCAST
