Experienced C/C++ Developer for Mobile DRM

This is a challenging position for an experienced software engineer. The role is part of our fast-growing core R&D team developing a leading edge standards-based DRM solution for mobile phones and other devices. You will be expected to be or become an expert in DRM and it’s relevance to the mobile industry. Our software is targeted at a wide variety of platforms; therefore you can expect to be frequently exposed to new and diverse technologies.

Responsibilities

As a core member of our development team you will be expected to cooperate in the overall design of our DRM Agent. You will be personally responsible for designing and documenting the modules that you develop. Your development will be principally in C and C++. You will take responsibility for testing, debugging and verifying software at the module and system level. At times you may be expected to present your expertise internally or externally to third party technical teams. You may become directly involved in integration projects with third parties software platforms. You should also be prepared to contribute to the evolution of internal software development processes.

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.

Experience

5+ years works in commercial software. Minimum 3 years experience in C/C++ development.

• Willingness to travel

Preferred Skills

You should be experienced in at least some of the following areas:

• Mobile phone operating systems (Windows Mobile, Symbian, BREW, Linux, Nucleus, RTKE, REX)
• Embedded software development (incl. RTOS)
• Mobile Phone device architecture
• Mobile Phone application technologies (MMS, WAP, J2ME, OTA Download, etc)
• Content Protection Technologies (OMA DRM, WMDRM, 18Crypt, Marlin DRM, Coral, CPRM, DLNA, ISMACryp, SimulCrypt)
• Mobile Broadcast (DVB-H, T-DMB, OMA BCAST)
• Cryptography (AES, RSA, PKI, OCSP)
• Streaming technologies (MPEG-4, 3GPP PSS)
